A. Introduction

To meet the growing demand for light prefab villa/ house system, our company has introduced this building system in India

 The main features of Retractable Roof System is as follows:

Wall load-carrying structure is constituted of small-spacing and cold-rolled light gauge steel; new materials with the characteristics of light weight, high strength and good thermal insulation and fire resistance are used for wall panels and floors; building fittings are standardized and normalized, etc.

The exterior wall is consisted of exterior wall panel, vapor barrier, structural exterior plate, light steel stud, heat insulation, and interior veneer.

 Exterior wall panels include: OSB Board,Aluminium Wall Cladding, all of which can meet the requirements of various elevation effects . Interior wall uses light steel stud, gypsum board/Cement Fiber board of High Density and insulated partition wall, with maximum fire resistance up to 2 hours; Sound insulation up to 53DB; thermal resistance rating of insulating cotton inside wall is between R13-R30; Waterproof layer of the outside wall uses moisture-proof paper with the character of air-permeated and water-repellent.

The Retractable roofing system of typical light steel villa system mainly constitutes joist, structural panel and suspension ceiling. The joist uses C Channel or cold-formed gauge steels as load-carrying structure; the structural panel is galvanized profiled sheet; the suspension ceiling is light steel joist and plasterboard. Generally, light steel villas have sloping roofs,basic structural forms are: light steel roof truss, structural panel, vapor barrier, thermal insulator, and roof tile which including asphalt shingle tile, ceramic tile and so on, with various colors and shapes, and high strength for against wind, heat keeping and water Proof.Compared with brick-concrete structure, light steel villa is more dynamic, and with  better thermal insulation. With different wall materials can create different architectural styles. Compared with wooden structure, light steel villa is more cost-effective and most materials for light steel villa are environmentally friendly. In addition, because of small section size and light weight of the light gauge steel, the space of the house can increase 5~8% compared with traditional structure. What’s more, light steel villa system requires simple construction process and short project term. For instance, the construction term will no more than 2 months for a two-story villa about 300 square meter from design to everything finished, and the process only need 5 workers. The main structure requires only 30-45 days.

B. Technical advantages

1. Anti-seismic: Most villas use slope roofing which usually use truss system. The

roofing system will be very strong after the truss was sealed with panels and gypsum

board. This kind of structure system can against 8-degree earthquake, and has high

strength of loading capability.

2. Good Performance for against wind: Light weight, high strength, good integrity,

easy to deform, all these advantages make light gauge steel building good performance

for against wind. It can resist the cyclone at the speed of 70 m/s, thus protecting the

building and people’s life.

3. Durability: Light gauge steel building uses cold-formed galvanized steel, thus

avoiding rust in the course of construction and use, and makes the life span of the

structure 100 years.

4. Heat Preservation Performance: Heat preservation: we use glass wool as

insulation and effectively avoid the phenomenon of cold bridge of the wall body. The heat

preservation effect of 100 mm glass wool is equivalent to 1m-thick brick wall.

5. Fire Resistance: As the experiment data shows, light steel system can resist fire

for four hours and can effectively slow down the fire spreading.

6. Sound-proof Performance: Sound-proof performance is an important item for

evaluating the accommodation. Light steel system adopt hollow glass for windows, which

can soundproof for 40 dB. The light steel wall system can soundproof for 60 dB.

7. Healthiness  : Dry construction, minimum waste to the environment, and 100%

recyclable of the materials, all these advantages are conform to the consciousness of

environmental protection. What’s more, the materials we use are all green materials,

which are good for people’s health.

8. Comfort : Light steel wall system adopts highly efficient energy-saving system with

respiration function to adjust the humidity of the room; with ventilation function in the roof,

ensuring the ventilation and hot scattering of the room, thus make the room more

comfortable.

9. Termite Resistant: The light steel buildings can completely resist termite invasion,

thus extending the life span of the house and decrease the repair cost.

10. Fast Assemble: Dry construction and without the influence of season. A

300 square meter building only need 5 workers for 45 to 0 days from the foundation to everything finished.

1. Asphalt shingle tile: Waterproof, against wind, self-cleanness, heat preservation,

soundproof, and corrosion resistance

2. Ceramic tile: Waterproof, against wind, self-cleanness, heat preservation,

soundproof, and corrosion resistance, and the maximum temperature can be 1700℃,

Thermal conductivity is 0.2w/mk.

3. Waterproof asphalt felt: Waterproof, tensile, anti-aging, and the temperature of

the surface can reach 60 ℃.

4. 15mm plywood: Thermal conductivity is 0.35w/mk.

5. Eave wood board: 18mm thick plywood：Thermal conductivity is 0.35w/mk

6. Ceiling of eave: PVC board：waterproof、damp-proof、termite-proof . Containing

flame-retardant materials，and safe to use.

7. Drainage for the roof: PVC rain spout,interface,elbow,pipe bracket,rainwater

hopper,gutter

insulation, noise reduction. Thermal conductivity is 0.042-0.049w/mk

7. Interior surface work: Interior wall emulsion paint：various color, can be brushed,

2. Composite insulation panel: 25mm thick，good performance of heat preservation,

convenient to cut

3. Foam strip: 8mm thick, buffer, heat preservation, soundproof

4. Insulation layer：Glass wool/ Rock wool : Vibration, sound absorption, heat insulation, thermal

insulation, noise reduction. Thermal conductivity is 0.042-0.049w/mk

5. Cement board：12mm thick, fireproof, water-fast, soundproof, heat preservation,

temperature≤42℃.

6. Surface: Interior wall emulsion paint：various color, can be brushed, roll-painted

or spraying, Environmental friendly, thermal conductivity is 0.028w/mk

Ⅵ. Floor (top to bottom)

1. Surface

Option 1-Floor tile：134℃,firm texture, rich color, water-resistant, wear-resistant, easy

to clean. Thermal conductivity is 2-2.4w/mk

Option 2- PVC carpet ： Heat Insulation, sound-absorbing, security, Thermal

conductivity is 0.034w/mk.

Ⅶ. Ceiling (inside to outside)

1. Ceiling board: 9mm thick gypsum board：fireproof, water-fast, soundproof, heat

preservation, The maximum temperature can be 42 ℃, thermal conductivity is

0.16w/mk.

2. Top angle Gypsum line：Fireproof, moldproof, termite proof, moisture proof,

soundproof, heat preservation, thermal conductivity is 0.16w/mk.

3. Emulsion paint：Various color, can be brushed, roll-painted or spraying,.

It is one-way perspective, high strength, and anti-UV.
